Feeling Angry?

We feel angry when you’re resenting someone and we feel resentment in response to two things:
1) someone violating our boundaries
2) inadequate support.
So if you’re feeling angry, it’s time to:
1) set a boundary
2) ask for support or help
This is especially true for women and even more so for women postpartum. So many women experience postpartum rage, it’s not its own diagnosis, but I wonder if it should be. It is often a symptom of one of the other postpartum syndromes: depression, anxiety, ocd, ptsd and psychosis. Please know if you are feeling this way, you are not alone. I have been there too. When I was postpartum, some days it felt like my body was on fire with anger towards my son's father.
It’s okay to be angry, feelings don’t hurt people, but behaviors do. Make sure to keep yourself and those around you safe.
