ADHD is a problem with executive function: planning, decision making and timing. It’s not just attention. People with ADHD are at increased risk of severe motor vehicle accidents. Treatment reverses this risk. 🤯
So is it worth it to get diagnosed and treated? There are varying levels of severity of ADHD. I try to make sure my patients’ driving is not negatively impacted by their symptoms.
